Thermal Radar was founded in Utah as a Limited Liability Company by Larry Price and Mike Dortch. The company was launched in March, 2012. The company is situated in Utah County just south of Salt Lake City in Utah’s own ‘silicon valley’; home of many high-tech companies and a hub of innovation. The company now does business globally in over 14 countries addressing the security needs of numerous vertical markets in the commercial and governmental sectors. TIR’s patented Thermal Radar technology allows one thermal sensor to do the work of up to 20 separate thermal cameras. Using less than 6 watts of power, the TIR Thermal Radar was designed to be used in rugged and remote areas as well as high traffic urban settings. TIR’s award winning Thermal Radar can operate where electronic resources are limited through solar and battery operated power sources as well as Wi-Fi, GSM, CDMA and Satellite communications systems. Thermal Radar provides a best in class 360 degree camera which will observe and detect heat signatures from human beings, vehicles, animals, fires, etc. This standalone sentry keeps a watchful eye viewing thermal images from over 600 meters away and will immediately alert user defined contacts of abnormalities through its GSM, CDMA, Wi-Fi or satellite communication network.
